This was the best Asian market I've been to so far in Lexington. Huge, great selection and super friendly customer service.
If you are looking for any asian groceries, definitely check this place out. This supermarket offers an expansive and diverse selection of goods, organized fairly well. The staff was helpful, but the store is not the most inviting, a tad on the darker side, don't let that deter you though as it is still worth it. Pricing was quite fair, especially when compared to other grocery stores offering these goods.
This market reminds me of China Town back home in New York. I literally was gob smacked by the variety of fruit (They have fruit I've only seen on Tik Tok). Like lycee and star apples . I was even more gob smacked at the selection of frozen dumplings, dim sum, and home made egg rolls (which I did buy ). Nine pork egg rolls for 5.99. They have a fresh seafood counter& have a selection of frozen seafood as well. I was hoping for some prepared food ready to eat but I think what I saw was some dim sum and something that may have been a dessert . Either way both items looked really good . The selection of cookies was pretty amazing looking although I didn't get any I was definitely intrigued by what I did look at . A lot of the items are labeled in Korean, Chinese etc however they do put a label on the shelf in English if it isn't on the packaging itself . That was most helpful! The lady at the register was kind enough to walk me through their card payment process because it was slightly different than other places. I'll definitely be back again to try some of those frozen dumplings I saw !
I need to learn more about the products so I can be a better cook! They have a large noodle selection and if like to lessen the difference in noodles.
I come here to buy my Asian groceries since regular American stores don't have most of the things I need to cook other than some vegetables. It is centrally located in Lexington and it's only a few minutes away from my house. So convenient.
This is the largest Asian market in Lexington with the largest variety of products with more focus on Chinese products. If you are looking for something specific or want a diverse selection check here. Also they have quite a bit of produce too.
Been here a few times with varying degrees of experience. Generally the people are nice and the prices are reasonable. Selection can be hit or miss depending on what you're looking for. When I couldn't find something the staff is always willing to help, even if they don't have whatever it is. Largest Asian grocery store in Lexington by size and I like that they also carry some limited West African and Caribbean food staples too.
